WE CARE ABOUT YOU

EVERYONE HAS SPECIFIC AND DIFFERENT QUALITIES SO WE NEED TO HAVE DIFFERENT APPROACHES TO HELP YOU.

THESE ARE A FEW THINGS WE ALREADY OFFER

  • MOBILITY ISSUES
    • Wheel chair access to building front and back via ramp, and staff can escort out back entrance if needed
    • Wheelchair available in reception if needed
    • Disabled toilet on site
    • Lift if needing to access upstairs
    • Staff happy to help you into clinical areas from reception also
  • VISION IMPAIRMENT
    • Large font on correspondance
    • Allowing working dogs in clinical areas
    • Staff happy to help you into clinical areas from reception also
    • Prescription and delivery and ordering
    • Ensure on patient plan so all staff aware and able to assist
  • HEARING IMPAIRMENT
    • Hearing loop available for calls
    • Test alerts for appointments
    • Online booking of appointments
    • Translators are able to be booked with additional time for appointments
    • Reception manager trained in sign language
  • LEARNING DISABILITY
    • For routine appointments the first of the afternoon and longer appointments available to reduce any distress from waiting in a busy waiting area
    • Nominated advocate/carer can be added to patient plan with consent and allowed to aid medical decisions and appointments
    • Reminder texts and telephone calls on request for appointments
    • Easy read materials available for conditions and interventions as needed
